Information and history about British Military Hospital Wuppertal in Germany with memories of BMH Wuppertal
BMH Wuppertal in Germany is a former British Army Of The Rhine (BOAR) hospital. It is no longer open though Qaranc.co.uk think that the former building of British Military Hospital Wuppertal is now a German civilian hospital called Bethesda Krankenhaus.
An account of QA Lorna Bradey who was posted to BMH Wuppertal in 1947 can be read in Millions Like Us: Women's Lives in War and Peace 1939-1949 where she recalls the destruction of World War Two and how the Germans were still suffering from shortages of food and fuel .
