These fun Christmas party photos of nurses, orderlies and doctors are from the collection of Dr James Leslie Kaye Watkinson (known as Leslie or Watty) 1920-1983 who worked from 1945 to 1948 in the RAMC practising in 1947 as an anaesthetist at the 29th British Military Hospital Hannover, Germany, BAOR.

These are from the 1947 Christmas party at BMH Hannover and beneath each is what is written on the back of each photograph. Our thanks to his son, Dr Peter Watkinson, for the contributions.

My PTSD assistance dog, Lynne, and I have written a book about how she helps me with my military Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety, and depression. I talk about my time in the QAs and the coping strategies I now use to be in my best health.
